hola Pilot, un cordial saludo desde Colombia, quiero saber si puede ayudarme con una informacion referente a el nrf24? quedare atento y muchas gracias por compartir sus logros...
Can i have schematics?
Wow. I'm more confused now than I was before.
How to turn of Sir
You will have to enter the settings, and then network configuration. Please read the manual, the process is explained there. But turn the internal hotspot off only after you configured an external router, and after you made sure it is working as it should.
Nice. Hackingthe controller pins. nice done
I had hours trying to connect my Ui12 to a Raspberry (Linux) and only found tutorials that did not help me much. Until I found yours. Thanks a lot. Obrigado.
I am glad it helped..
Thank you, i dont have facebook 😩 Too bad, I'll just watch the videos. Have a good day.
I still have Facebook because of some groups I follow or manage. Otherwise I don't think I would ;) I am not very familiar to Github. It looks quite complicated, or I am too stupid, one of the two.. 😀🤪
By the way, if you don't have Facebook how did you find this video? I am asking because I normally only publish them on the Facebook groups I follow.
@@pilot140467 By googling, i wanted to make myself a switcher and I found that of Armando Colangelo iLooPino 2.0 and on youtube, I found your channel.
Very good job, do you have a github or a site where we can have info on editing?. A big thank-you.
A Facebook group. Please search for a group called "iLoopino Guitar Effects Switcher" The whole project is being posted and discussed there.
Nice project, is there a chance you will share it?. Thanks.
Probably.. 😀 The main problem is the Digital Potentiometers being in stock again. I had the exact amount for this project.
Sounds nice!

The same method I use.
It works quite well 😀
this is very cool! Is the webserver already built-in or did you build it yourself?
It is a library that does that. It is called WiFimanager.
So turn off the (hotspot or the wifi or both)? I had all on (hotspot, wifi & LAN) and it keep losing connection & dropping the audio
Turn the internal hotspot off, but only after you have the external router working. What audio is stopping playing? The audio from the player, or all audio? What do you have connected to the USB ports? A pendrive?
@@pilot140467 yea I changed the IP address on the router & mixer so it's not the same & turned off hotspot & wifi just using the router connection is working but today I was getting signal to the mixer but nothing was coming out the speakers 🙈
@@DjPositiveP You didn't answer my question about which audio is not playing. USB stick? All audio? I also understand that you are able to control the mixer, so the wifi connection is working?
@@pilot140467 yea all audio cut off.. yea I used the hard wire from the mixer LAN Port to the router and connected wirelessly to the router
@@DjPositiveP all audio cutting off but the mixer can still be controlled is not good and makes me believe that it has nothing to do with the router. Do you have anything plugged on the USB ports?
cOOL CIRCUIT.
I can see why you create a static ip for the UI however what is the benefit of setting a static ip on a laptop or a tablet?
Hi, Well, It am not an expert, I have followed some tutorials, asked some questions, successfully did it for myself and did the video so what I have learnt could also help others. But my guess is that in case the Router has trouble assigning an IP to the device, it will always connect if this device already has an IP assigned.
Is the subnet mask number I enter, from my router or the ui24 when I first configure my router? Thanks for the video
I am not sure I understand what you mean. And the video is about the Ui12 and Ui16. I have no idea how the Ui24 is configured. I don't have one, and I have never worked with one. Sorry about that. :(
If router goes south are you saying after rebooting it that it will default to the factory default IP or assigns itself a new IP which means all other devices have to be updated. Wouldn’t it be easier to change routers IP back to the UI’s IP? Or were you defining goes south as the router having to be replaced with a new one? 1). By using the mixer IP if router goes south the only thing you have to do is up date the ui IP on the router? 2). Please clarify when I hook a new router for the first time what I need to do with the default IP. I would have thought I could just change it to ui default ? 3). If router goes south and you used routers default IP instead of UI’s why would you have to update all your laptop, tablet UI IP’s, if all you have to do is ensure the IP was the same as it was before which was the routers factory default. If you could address each question separately much appreciated
The expression "The Router goes South" means that the Router got broken, failed, stopped working for some reason. Changing the Router's IP to the mixer's default IP is what the video is all about. Did you understand the opposite? :o 1) No, you misunderstood it obviously. If the router is configured to the Mixer's default IP Range (10.10.2.x), then if the router stops working you just need to reset the mixer's network to default to re-enable the internal hotspot. As the router already used the mixer's default IP range, you can even just use the same browser window that is already open on your Tablet, PC, Phone, etc... Please refer to the Ui mixer manual to learn how to reset the Network to default. 2) Did you watch the video? )I suggest you watch it again :) That is exactly what the video tries to explain. I know I am not very good making videos and expressing myself. Perhaps that is the problem :( 3) Well, you could use the router's default IP Range, but you would still have to reset the mixer's network to enable the internal hotspot. That would delete the router IP from the Mixer settings and would replace them with the mixer's default. That means you would have to configure the browser to the default Ui IP address instead of the default router IP address you were using before. If this happens in a live show, it is already bad enough to have to reboot the mixer, never mind having to also restart the browser with a new IP address that you might not even remember at the moment. Every second counts. If you were already using the Mixer's default IP Range on the router, and it failed, you don't need to remember anything else, except how to reset the Mixer's network, and in theory you should be up and running in just a couple of minutes. I hope I managed to answer your questions..
@@pilot140467 yes now I understand where you would use the units internal wifi hotspot if the external router goes down and therefore all the devices would remain with their same Fixed IP
@@thefishnmusician9667 Yeah, this could be a real advantage if we use several devices. But let's hope that our Routers never "Go South" 😃🤣🤣
@@pilot140467 Just on all that: can we build in redundancy, on the basis that the main connection to the router/UI is via an ipad, say, by hardwiring the laptop with a cat5 cable to another LAN port on the router...? Does that give us a direct connection to the UI, should something happen to the wireless connection of the ipad....
@@stuartdocherty8409 you can connect a Laptop to the router via network cable. Just give a static IP to the laptop in the same range as the router's IP. For example, imagine that the router's IP address is 10.10.2.100, then you configure the IP range the router can assign to other devices from say 10.10.2.11 to 10.10.2.99 The other IP addresses from 10.10.2.1 to 10.10.2.10 will be reserved for devices with static IP as they are out of the range the router will assign automatically to other devices. So, your mixer will have a static IP of 10.10.2.1. Now create a network connection on your Laptop, and assign a static IP of for example 10.10.2.2 Now the Laptop should be able to communicate with the mixer without any conflicts with other devices connected wirelessly with the router.
I tried for days to do this and failed miserably...then I watched your video and BINGO I was in! Thank you so much and may the sound gods always smile upon you my friend.
I am glad it helped. Nice that you have fixed it. Well done.

hi great video. what if i wanna use variable power input? like a power source from the receiver pack, with constant current thank you
If only you could zoom in so we can see the screen clearly, maybe talk it through as well
you made a receiver for the FRSKY?
Yup. :) It is a DIY project, and you can also build it. Not my project though, I just helped the developer with testing it. There is a new one now supporting a couple Frsky proticols. I don't have the link at the moment but I can post it later if you want.
Hi! Maybe u can help me. I have a 9x turnigy off for quite a while. Today, when you turn it on, nothing happens. I've done the test with the usb programmer and the radio turns on. Leaving the key off and placing the trainer door, the radio turns on. I measured the voltage on the 7805 and nothing comes. Same thing on the capacitor below it. Any tips?
Hi, check the switch. perhaps it got broken. be careful not to reverse the battery polarity or you will destroy the radio. there is no protection against reverse polarity. Check the switch with the battery disconnected and using a multimeter set to read resistance or continuity.
Awesome
The fine turne can be stored in a config file, if not it is lost when the transmitter is turned off. Please could someone tell me were that file is located as I'm unable to find it
Never heard of that :o What transmitter do you have then??
@@pilot140467 The transmitter is X9D, but I don't think that is relevant .This what I'm referring to from Git Hub.Users who compile their own MULTI-Module firmware can specify pre-set frequency fine tuning values in the firmware, so that they automatically apply to a given protocol. I thought this would be handy if using more than one transmitter, Do I have to create a config.h file as I'm unable to find it in the flashing firmware
@@alantoseland6629 As far as I know, and on the radios I use, 9xtreme and Ar9x boards for the 9x radio, both running ErskyTX as firmware, the calibration is stored on the model configuration itself, not in a config file somewhere.. Better you ask this question on the Multiprotocol module's thread at RC Groups.
@@pilot140467 ok thank you
Great work by you and Mike.....I am a big fan of the 9x I have about 6 of them.... is the voice module you made still up to date? and can it read the flight modes coming from the telemetry or just what switch has been selected? Brett
Hi, I love my turnigy 9x I have about 6 of them and love er9x firmware ......getting old now and have to label all my switchs.....is there a easy way to play switch position on the radio? or maybe play sound from telemetry from which flight mode the flight controller is in? Brett
Yes, it is possible, but you would have to built a voice module for it.
Are they newer parts to use for building the voice module ? like all in one or not..... Brett
